As of April 18, 25 residents of Navur Community are at Berd Community hospital with the symptoms characteristic to intestine infections (diarrhea, high temperature, vomiting and dizziness), out of whom 20 people are aged 18. The state of all patients is assessed as of slight or medium severity, as RA Health Ministry informs. The patients have been diagnosed with intestine infections: the lab analysis of the water showed that the majority of the patients used two catchments of the same aqueduct, one of which has extremely insufficient sanitary and hygienic state. Currently, the water supply from the aqueduct is stopped and both the catchment and the aqueduct are being disinfected. The works are carried out in partnership with Tavush regional health bodies.
