An unprecedented blooming in Lake Sevan takes place in front of our eyes. The scientists and society are bearing an alarm signal about the current disastrous situation and are urging to take urgent measures to save the lake so as not to have irreversible consequences for Lake Sevan. Nevertheless, the competent bodies – RA Minister of Environment is downgrading the current risks and don’t offer urgent measures to save Sevan.
We, the representatives of the civil society, are beating a “SOS Sevan” and inviting all the interested citizens for the discussion, development of the proposals to save Sevan and to submit these proposals to the Armenian Government.
