GREEN MOVEMENT ACTIVISTS NOT SATISFIED WITH MEASURES TAKEN TO PRESERVE SYMPHONY OF STONES IN GARNI

Green movement activists express their dissatisfaction with Nature Protection Ministry’s answer about the measures taken in regard with the unique natural monument, the Symphony of Stones in Garni. Commenting the ministry’s reply Mariam Sukhudyan asks in her letter to EcoLur: “What does it mean that the map of monuments and their birders are not approved? What measures are taken to approve it and who benefits from this non-approval? What measures are taken in regard with our demand to detect and punish those who are guilty of destroying the Symphony of Stones? The demand was left unnoticed? Why a criminal case wasn’t initiated?” Upon her request we sent those questions to the Nature Protection Ministry via hot line as open information.
