“Clean Homeland” program consists of two parts: area cleaning and improving. As the Nature Protection Ministry repressentative assured, different programs will be implemented in different parts of the republic aimed at cleaning and improving protected areas, routes and rural communities as the task of this program is to have clean environment. The Hrazdan Gorge has experimentally been cleaned: garbage has been collected, dustbins - placed, maps about the Hrazdan Gorge –installed. The Ministry of Emergency States also supported the river cleaning, while transport was provided by the municipality and the youth acted as workers.
