On 19 July 2010 a group of residents from Verin Getashen, Nerkin Getashen and Madina Villages in Gegharkounik Region held an illegal measure on Martouni-Yerevan republican highway and blocked the traffic. When Martouni Division of RA Police started preparing the materials of this case, a group of villagers stated in their explanations they wanted to apply to the Government in order to stop the civil works aimed at changing the Agitchi Riverbed.
As a result of material preparation, to initiate a criminal case is rejected.
Gegharkounik Regional Prosecutor’s Office didn’t receive any complaint from the villagers.
