On 25 August Heritage Faction Head Stepan Safaryan sent a letter to Public Prosecutor Aghvan Hovsepyan on the faction behalf. In this letter where the Heritage considers this a crime, the Heritage demands to initiate a criminal case in regard with the investigator’s illegitimate actions from Martouni Prosecutor’s Office. The investigator is factually prosecuting the demonstrators who held a protest demonstration against the initiative to take away the Gayladzor riverbed, the main tributary to the Argitchi River, through constructing a small hydropower plant in order to detect the demonstration organizers.
