What Decision Working Group on Khosrov Will Make?

Nature Protection Ministry will set up a working group, which will deal with the assessment and planning of works concerning the suspended object in “Gilan” section of “Khosrov Forest” Reserve. Reminder: In 2007, the government changed the status of Gilan and made it a wildlife preserve thus enabling land development there. After active public demonstrations, in 2011 the government retained the status of conservation area to Gilan, but it hasn’t made any decision so far what to do with this construction. The Alliance of Environmental Public Organizations has discussed this issue and most NGOs gave their voices for the dismantling of this construction.
