Antiuranium Movement Representative’s Response to Kirienko’s Statement

On 7 February “Rosatom” State Corporation Director General Sergey Kirienko told the journalists that Armenian position will be taken into consideration when prospecting uranium in Armenia.

We don’t think that the Russian Federation intends to refuse from state interests in favour of the issues of environmental protection and population health in Armenia, so Mr. Kirienko’s response to our concerns has formal nature. ”
