Appeal to Nature Protection Ministry: Officially Ban Seizure of Surenyats Green Zone

On 14 February the residents of Qanaqer-Zeytoun quarter have been fighting against the heavy machinery in the park at Surenyats Street, who tried to implement construction works in the park. “Heritage” Faction Deputies Styopa Safaryan and Larisa Alaversyan were supporting the residents.
It turns out that the deputies interfered in this affair to prevent the seizure of public green zone thus performing the function to be performed by Nature Protection Ministry. Meanwhile Nature protection Ministry pretends that it hasn’t any common with all this.
