Reforestation in Kapan Region

This year Kapan Forestry has also planted 350 trees along the road running to Vahanavanq in regard with the International Year of Forests (Forests 2011) declared by the UN. These trees are mainly fruit trees and their engrafting ability has turned to be “satisfactory” after examinations. The recovery of Kapan Forestry Tree Nursery is of great importance for wide-scale reforestation, and this program has already been developed.
