ANPP To Stop for 141 Days for Regular Renovation

From May to October 2021, 141 days, the ANPP will stand for the next planned precautionary repairs (PWPs), as ANPP CJSC informs.

"The capacity of PNV-2021 has more than doubled due to the addition of an unprecedented amount of work planned for the standard volume of repairs (heat treatment of the reactor hull, modernization of basic safety systems, restoration of reservoir towers, etc.).

"With the introduction of these measures, the further safe operation of the ANPP №2 power unit will be substantiated not only until September 2026, as it is envisaged by the power unit life extension program, but also after 2026," the statement says.
