Upon Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan’s order, a working group has been established, which should deal with studying the operation of “Geopromining Gold” LLL in regard with the compliance of its operation with RA Law “On Lake Sevan.”
It should be mentioned that since April 2011 the public has many times officially applied to Nature Protection Ministry demanding to stop the illegal operation of Geopromining Gold Company who had disposed a crushing and sorting plant in the drainage basin of Lake Sevan, Sotq, without having any permitting documents.
