The ceremony of establishing ecotourism center was held in the village of Kazanchi, Shirak Region. This Center is designed for providing information about biodiversity and ecotourism routes in “Lake Arpi” National Park in Ashotsk.
The Center is established with financial backing of World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Head of World Wildlife Fund Armenia Karen Manvelyan that this program mainly pursues three objectives, such as establishing a national park to preserve rich biodiversity, developing adjacent communities and frontier cooperation.
