Last year on 14 May a breakdown occurred at “Nairit” (three explosions and big fire) which is the third one within 3-4 years. Almost half of the population of Armenia lives in Yerevan, the factory is located in the capital next to densely populated region. This chemical giant is only 3-4 stops far away from Garegin Nzhdeh Square.
It seemed that “Nairit Factory” Company and appropriate state bodies will gather and… Both the company and the Chief Criminal Investigation of the RA Police who conducted preliminary investigation of Criminal Case № 69104309 initiated on the basis of these explosions, didn’t publicize the names of those guilty of this accident, as well as the causes of these explosions.
