The website of the Armenian Government is lacking decision № 1279-N dated on 1 November 2007 on recognizing 81,483 ha of Shnogh and Teghout Community land areas as public priority.
It should be reminded according to this decision the land areas of Shnogh and Teghout Communities were recognized as an exclusively high public priority with the purpose to develop the Teghout copper and molybdenum mine. The land areas were seized in favor of ACP Company dealing with Teghout mine project. This decision served as basis for initiating a number of lawsuits in connection with compensations for seized land areas. The reason is locals’ refusal to give their land areas at established price.
