Though tree felling is not excluded now, but as specialists assure forests are gradually on their feet. In Kapan Region 20 ha of tree planting is scheduled for 2010, out of which 10 ha has already planted, the rest is planned for autumn. Mainly valuable tree species are planted, such as nutwood, oak trees, plane trees, as well as fruit trees. The most wide-scale tree plantings were conducted in the territory of Geghi.
