Under Sivilitas Foundation website, world famous rock singer and human rights activist Serj Tankian spoke about his impressions youth environmental movement in Armenia: “I can see a new wave of youth movement in Armenia. Yesterday I met with Teghout Protection Group and saw they are devoted to their mission and will do their best to save the forest and to prevent the copper mine development.”
“I think it’s really important whether it’s on an environmental level or on the human rights or political level. I really think there is an awakening happening here,” Tankian said.
