Timber is piled up in the football field in Shnogh Village. This is forest cut down in Teghout… Shnogh Village Administration Head Haykaz Kochinyan and Teghout Village Administration Head Harutyun Meliksetyan say their villagers buy timber at a price of 1200 AMD for one cubic meter, while the timber heaped up in the football field costs 12,000 AMD. “Besides, this timber is oak, which burns down not so well and is not suitable for heating houses,” villagers say.

…According to “ArmForest” SNCO Head Samvel Sahakyan, at present timber of high quality is brought to these villages from other forestry enterprises. That’s why ArmForest plans to stop supplying this region with timber from other forestry enterprises, unless all the timber is sold out.
