On 18 February, the police warned the activists protecting the park on Mashtots Avenue that the obstacles put in the construction works in the work can be defined as arbitrariness, which brings to administrative liability. In accordance with RA Law “On the Police”, the police secure public order and safety of the citizens, i.e. in this case they secure the conduct of the construction works. At the same time, the police don’t notice the violations the construction works themselves make. The development territory exceeds 1500 square meters, which obliges site developers to receive environmental expert assessment, which is missing in this particular case.
