On May 26, the executive approved the procedure for the implementation of the state support program for energy-efficient renovation of apartments and individual houses. Reminder: the program was approved by the executive on April 15, 2022. The credit limit provided by commercial banks for energy-efficient renovation will be no more than 7.0 million AMD in case of renovation of an apartment building, and not more than 10.0 million AMD for individual residential houses.
The state will subsidize the loan interest rates, nevertheless, the decree does not mention how much the interest rate will be and how much it will be subsidized. "The bank will give the maximum loan at 14%. The government will subsidize in the following way. The loan interest rate will be zero for borderline areas, 2% in rural communities, 3% in urban areas outside Yerevan, and 5% in Yerevan," Nikol Pashinyan said.
With the loan, the citizen can insulate walls, roofs, mezzanines, purchase energy-efficient construction materials, energy-saving appliances, exterior doors, windows, heating or water heating boilers, heating system components, cooling systems, energy-efficient air conditioners, air conditioners, air conditioners, air conditioners, and luminaires, install or replace them.
