From February 1 to December 30, 2024, it will be allowed to catch red bream, rainbow trout, Caucasian shad, white stout, black stout, blind bream, blind wrasse, gray heron, eastern heron, bream, white stout, spotted stout, silver crucian carp, mullet, bream, catfish and crab. Fishing for the mentioned fish species is prohibited during their spawning period, and for crayfish in Lake Sevan and during its reproduction period.
The draft stipulates that the validity period of the agreements on the use of fauna facilities for social purposes should be set until November 15, 2024 in order to ensure the natural reproduction of fish during the spawning period of trout and whitefish in Lake Sevan.
