The procedure of drilling groundwater freshwater has been simplified: On 27 April the Armenian Government approved the package of draft laws on making amendments and supplements to RA Code on Water Code and a number of relevant laws. According to the amendments, drilling of groundwater freshwater will be not licensed any longer, but notified.
This amendment is conditions with the policy adopted by the Armenian Government to reduce, simpligy and clarify licensing procedures.
