More than 20 NGOs from USA, UK, Mexico, Venezuela, Kyrgyzstan, Bulgaria, Uganda, have responded to the call “SOS Sevan” from Armenia. The call has been widespread by Women in Europe for a Common Future Network (WECF) by the appeal of Armenian “EcoLur” and AWHHE NGOs.
WECF Network includes more than 100 NGOs from 30 countries. Now the call is being supported by IPEN Network includes about 400 NGOs all over the world. The cause of SOS alarm is the process of the replacement of Gold Recovery Fabric from Ararat city to Sevan Lake basin.
