The fire that broke out at Yerevan’s Nubarashen landfill was contained on October 12 at 20:06. Firefighting operations, however, continue with the same intensity. Approximately 1,400 tons of water have been used, and around 900 soil dumps have been carried out to prevent the fire from spreading. There are no open flames at this time, and the volume of smoke has significantly decreased, as the Rescue Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs informs.
