On July 27, during the celebration of the Feast of Vardavar, “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve will be closed to all types of visits due to the high fire-risk season across the Republic and the dense vegetation within the reserve, as the Ministry of Environment informs.
The official statement reads: “To avoid potential fires and their unpredictable consequences, we urge the public to: Follow fire safety rules in areas adjacent to the state reserve: do not discard burning matches or cigarette butts, and do not burn dry grass or household waste.
Light campfires only in designated areas and extinguish them properly with water or by covering with soil. Avoid leaving bottles or glass shards in the area, as these can contribute to fire outbreaks. Be vigilant and cautious at all times.
Dear citizens, we kindly ask you to be particularly attentive and to support the efforts of “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve SNCO and RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service in preventing forest fires and violations of reserve regulations.”
