Starting from August 23, the amateur hunting season will open in Armenia. Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan has signed an order defining the permissible quotas for the use of hunting animals and the hunting periods for 2025–2026 within the territory of the Republic of Armenia (excluding specially protected natural areas).
According to the order, persons with hunting permits will be allowed to hunt one wolf specimen. Hunting is permitted only on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, as well as on holidays and memorial days established by the Law on Holidays and Memorial Days of the Republic of Armenia.
