On August 29, the Inspection Body for Environment Protection and Mining (IBEPM) received a report from the Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vayots Dzor division, regarding crayfish discovered in the trunk of a citizen’s car.

On-site, IBEPM inspectors found that H.G., a resident of Nor Kharberd village in Ararat Region, had illegally caught 40.98 kg of crayfish from Herher Reservoir.
