On October 30, 2025, a regular meeting of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) Multi-Stakeholder Group of the Republic of Armenia took place under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan. The meeting was also attended by Victoria Burnazyan, member of the EITI Civil Society Constituency and Vice President of the “Ecolur” Information NGO.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister was presented with a number of agenda items, including the implementation of the measures outlined in the mining sector strategy, ongoing work aimed at more effective and transparent management of the sector, as well as issues related to improving the process of implementing the EITI Standard.
