Traditional Meeting Preceding Irrigation Period Took Place The traditional meeting-discussion preceding to the irrigation period was held on February 1 in Arzakan Community, Kotayk Region, which was presided by Armenian Deputy PM, Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan. The participants of the meeting were the State Committee of Water Industry of NPM, water intake and water users association heads, farmer – water users, as well as mass media representatives. It was recorded that 2013 was rather a tense year for the irrigation system, which was conditioned with insufficient volumes of water in the reservoirs, high demand in irrigation water and not taking additional water volumes from Lake Sevan.
