In 2013 the organizations forming the system of the water industry paid 7.27 billion AMD to the state budget in the form of taxes, duties and compulsory payments, as Information and Public Relations Department of Territorial Administration Ministry informs.
Around 16.7 billion AMD was charged for drinking water as compared with 16.3 billion AMD in 2012, while this figure for irrigation water is 4.44 billion AMD versus 4.03 billion AMD in 2012. The levies in drinking water made up 98.07% in 2013 and 85.7% in irrigation water, respectively. The figure for 2013 exceeds that of 2012 by 135 million AMD.
