The total number of illegally cut down trees for 2013 made up 2031 as compared with 1860 in 2012, as the Information and Public Relations Department of Territorial Administration Ministry informs. In line with the report submitted by 'State Center for Forest Monitoring' and 'ArmForest' SNCOs to the Ministry, Reforestation works were conducted in around 542 ha of the territory in 2013, out of which 448.3 ha was reforested in the forestry enterprises of 'ArmForest' SNCO and 94 ha in specially protected areas.
