The only environmental program - “Ecologica” on Kentron TV has been closed, which was the only TV environmental program in Armenia. Last time “Ecologica” was broadcast was 27 February 2015, when its presenter Tatev Danielyan declared about its closedown.
It happened after tension of relations between Gagik Tsarukyan, the owner of the TV channel and leader of Prosperous Armenia party and party in power – Republican Party of Armenia.
EcoLur regrets about the closedown of “Ecologica”, especially when the environmental problems in Armenia get accumulated and their detection and presentation to public require resources.
