Cases of illegal water use were recorded during the inspections carried out in Ararat Region, as Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body informs.
According to the press release, illegal water intake was carried out from 4 and 3 ground wells in Noramarg and Zorak settlements in Masis, respectively, without water use permits. By the decisions of Head of Ararat Territorial Department of Inspection Body, the operation of 7 illegal wells was suspended, and administrative measures were imposed.
