The lake, which used to be the attraction of Artashat, will be restored. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan really valued the lake established in 1971, which is currently a waterlogged area and ordered to restore it in 2012.
According to the studies conducted by “Hayjrnakhagits” Institute, the lake restoration will assist to solve one of the most important environmental issues for the town, i.e. the town residents will get free of the stench the lake spreads.
