Most Polluted Part of Hrazdan River Downwards Yerevan

The most polluted part of the Hrazdan River is downwards Yerevan, the section near Darbnik Village. Under the annual report by “Environmental Impact Monitoring Center” SNCO for 2012, the average annual concentration of aluminum exceeded CB up to 89.7 times, chromium – 17.6, ammonium ion – 54.1, manganese – 17 and nitrite ion – 9.6. In this section of the river aluminum concentration mad up 3588 mcg/l, chromium – 880 mcg/l, ammonium ion- 10.8mgN/l, manganese – 850 mcg/l and nitrite ion – 0.096 mgN/l.
