Yeghegis (Elegis) River is a tributary to the Arpa River: its length is 47 km. As of 1 October 2013, under the licenses issued by Public Services Regulatory Committee, the following SHPPs are constructed on this river:
- “Yeghegis” SHPP operated by “Elegis HPP” LLC, derivation length is missing,
- “Surb Aghbyur” SHPP operated by “Surb Aghbyur” LLC, derivation length – 1536 meters,
- “Yeghegnadzor” SHPP operated by “Mina-Maya” LLC, derivation length – 3250.54 meters,
- “Yeghegnadzor SHPP-1” SHPP operated by “Mina-Maya” LLC, derivation length – 2650 meters,
- “Yeghegis-1” SHPP operated by “Syunyats VOT” LLC, derivation length – 1394 meters,

"Alnars" SHPP operated by "Alnars" LLC, derivation length –2300 meters.
The SHPPs pipe a total river area of 24894 meters, which makes up 52․96% of the river not taking into consideration “Yeghegis” SHPP, as its derivation length is missing.
