Whether Amulsar Project To Become Collaborative Project To Be Implemented by EAEU Member States?

By Decree No. 7 of March 30, 2023, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the creation of a new financial instrument for the implementation of the cooperative program of the industrial sectors in the regions of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Armenian government approved this initiative by its decision on May 18, 2023.

Reminder: on February 22, 2023, a tripartite memorandum of understanding was signed between RA government, Eurasian Development Bank and "Lydian Armenia" CJSC regarding the operation of the gold-bearing quartzite mine in Amulsar. This creates prerequisites for the Amulsar project to be considered as a joint cooperation project in the field of industry to be implemented by EAEU member states.
