The Paris Agreement of the UN Framework Agreement on Climate Change doesn’t lay down fines for the countries having defaulted on their commitments, as Dr Alexey Kokorin,  Director of the Climate and Energy Programme at WWF Russia at the press conference held within the frames of the meeting of CAN EECCA of Climate Action Network International  in Yerevan on 5-7 June 2019.

It should be mentioned that Armenia has undertaken commitment to limit the emissions of greenhouse gases within the ranges of 633 million tons within 35 years. It has also undertaken a commitment to make its forest cover to 20.1% by 2050.
