"Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO reports that on April 9, a cyclone affecting the territory of the republic moved out of the Mediterranean Sea, shifted toward Iraq, and from there advanced to the Caucasus. As a result, southern air currents carried dust-laden air from the deserts of Iraq to our country, leading to the so-called "mud rains" that fell in most regions.
