Nature Protection Minister Aramayis Grigoryan presided the third meeting of the interdepartmental board on UN Convention on Climate Change. As the Nature Protection Ministry informs, the board members were submitted the third national communication of the UNFCCC, which was afterwards recommended for submitting to the upcoming convention of the UNFCCC in line with the accepted procedure. During the meeting the problems connected with climate change were revealed while drawing up the third national communication, as well as the proposals directed at their solution. The board members were also presented the new development under the UNFCCC, particularly the main decisions made at the 20th convention in Lima in the context of Intended Nationally Determined Contributions-INDC.
During the discussions having followed the reports the third national communication under Intended Nationally Determined Constributions-INDC was approved and recommended for submission to the upcoming convention of the Convention member countries.
