Adaptation Fund paves new ways by expanding the access of Armenia’s vulnerable communities for climate-related financial resources, since Armenia has become the first Eastern European country whose respective national agency has been granted direct access to the resources of this organization.
'Being the pioneer of direct access enables Armenia to have access to climate-related resources, and to develop and implement respective programs for its most vulnerable communities, as well as to ensure potential model, which can be a role model for other countries,' said Chair of Board of Adaptation Fund Naresh Sharma.
