The residents of the Pacific ocean Islands intend to block the largest coal port in Australia on 17 October in the sign of protesting developing fossil fuel. The social websites are disseminating residents’ call to support them in their fight.
“My name is Milan Loeak and I’m from the Marshall Islands. You may have heard that climate change causes increase in the ocean level and my islands will be the first to disappear. But the people of the Pacific Ocean Islands won’t give up – we keep on fighting. And we know the greatest hazard is fossil fuels.”
