

Active meetings were held with the local population to develop the community's socio-ecological policyi the enlarged community of Odzun, Lori region in February 2022.
The preconditions for developing this policy were discussed with Odzun residents included in the focus group of the team of Center for Community Consolidation and Support NGO in Alaverdi on February 3, and with the representatives of the other focus group in Odzun community on February 7. The assessment of the environmental and social policy of the community was carried out by means of a tool-measure developed by the project experts.
During the discussions, a combination of formal and informal data collected using a tool-measure was performed. The results of the analysis of the collected data will enable the assessment of the socio-ecological condition and capacities of the community, to formulate proposals that will be presented to the local self-governments in order to include them in their five-year development plans.
“Social and Ecological Responsibility” project is carried out by the NGOs involved in "Social-Ecological Consortium” - “Center for Community Mobilization and Support”, “Martuni Women’s Community Council”, “New Horizons”, “EcoLur” and “Forests of Armenia” NGOs within the frameworks of The Data for Accountable and Transparent Action (DATA) project.
