On 2 September Tata Simonyan’s concert was held in Kapan with the support of Deno Gold Mining Company for current Mayor Artur Atayan. Administrative Director of the company Hrach Jabrayan in his greeting touched upon the statement made by the civic initiative of Kapan addressed to the company (the statement refers to the company’s interference in the election process for Kapan Mayor’s office) and called this statement as speculation. “Semilegal business owners stand behind this letters, who sought to defame the company administration.” H. Jabrayan particularly said, “If you have something to say to Deno Gold, something illegal, then turn up and substantiate your indignation…Now let the people live quietly and freely in our town.”
