The police pressure on the poaching suspect Norik Sargsyan has increased. According to “Khosrov Forest” civic initiative, since the morning Norik Sargsyan has been at the Criminal investigation Department of Kotays Region with the lawyer provided to him. Nevertheless, he has just been taken out of the department without any lawyer and was put in the car with 035 ՈՍ 64 plate. But the activists and Sargsyan’s relatives, who were watching by the police station, didn’t allow the police officers to drive N. Sargsyan away without the lawyer. Afterwards Sargsyan was again taken back to the police station. He looked extremely intimidated and suppressed” the statement says. The initiative noted that actions, N. Sargsyan is suspected of, don’t prescribe detention and arrest. “All this witnesses that the police use special methods to lay the blame for the poaching in Khosrov reserve at N. Sargsyan and to conceal the factual poachers and inactions by Nature Protection Ministry.”
