“Center for Jermuk Development” NGO and “Trchkan” Civic Initiative has addressed a letter to Nature Protection Minister and offer to turn down “Gndevanq” SHP Project submitted by “BSB” Company. Reminder: The company has organized two public hearings, nevertheless, none of them was held. The documents submitted by “BSB” Company for “Gndevanq” SHP Project mention “Goris” river instead of “Ankan” river. In fact, the SHP will be constructed on the Ankan River and not Goris River. It’s also not clear what kind of connection the documents of “Gndevanq” SHP displayed on the website of Nature Protection Ministry have with the documents of SHPs to be constructed on the Goris River. We propose to annul the public hearings on the construction project of “Gndevanq” SHP submitted by “BSB” Company dated on 10 December at 16 Getapnya st., Jermuk Town, Vayots Dzor Region and to reject all the project documents submitted by this company and not to refer to this project any longer,” the letter says.
