The Nature Protection Ministry has dispatched the project of Meghradzor Gold Corporation on the construction of a cyanic plant in Meghradzor for the consideration of the Health Ministry. As the ministry website says, “what about the documentation package on the construction project of a cyanic plant in Meghradzor, we received the findings of the public hearings, opinion and proposal of “EcoLur” Informational NGO and a group of locals, who express their deep concern with the use of sodium cyanide in Meghradzor.” It should be noted that EcoLur has already received a reply from the Health Ministry, which says, “Taking into consideration the Ministry intends to examine the project documents.”
