“We Are This City’s Owners”, “Our City”, “Jermuk Wont’ Become a Mine” and “Teghout Support” civic initiatives have disseminated a video material accompanied with a statement, which particularly says, “Armenian presidential candidate, incumbent president and the main responsible for oligarchic system Serzh Sargsyan has publicized his video clip. It refers to the environmental and other civic movements in Armenia, particularly he embezzled and ‘privatized’ the honest fight and success of the citizens waged for Trchkan waterfall, Mashtots Park and issues without feeling uncomfortable and he presented himself to be the “back” of an activist protecting public property.”
We find that embezzlement of the honest fight of a group of Armenian citizens is just immorality. It should be recorded and acknowledged once and forever these victories belong only to the law-obedient and active citizens of Armenia, who have recorded successes due to their fight lasting several months making law-breaking officials review and change their illegitimate decisions and to make decisions of public interest.
It should also be mentioned that Armenian presidential candidate, incumbent president S. Sargsyan is the main person to be responsible for concealing the crime on 1 March 2008, mass emigration, for not revealing murders in the army committed under peaceful conditions, not enforcing justice, overt plunder of natural resources belonging to us, destruction of natural and historic-cultural monuments and not regulating other similar issues.
Let the public judge about such authorities and the moral image of its candidate, and the first opportunity is the upcoming election.”
