A protest demonstration will be held near the historical-cultural monument-buildings located at 3 Abovyan St., Yerevan, at 13:00 on 11 February in the support of the AOKS building of the Armenian Association for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and adjacent historical and cultural monuments. The organizers of the protest demonstration expect Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan’s participation in this event, where she will express her official positions, otherwise the protest demonstration will continue in front of the culture ministry. The reason for this protest demonstration is the construction of 10-storey hotel near the historical-cultural monuments, which will result for the historical-cultural monuments to turn into parking lots and other infrastructures. “Teghout Support” civic initiative member Arthur Grigoryan told “EcoLur” about this event.
