On the day of the presidential elections in Armenia on 18 February, as of 16:00, i-Ditord monitoring program received over 200 signals about different sorts of violations connected with the elections. Facebook social network is full of information about violations. Almost from all regions of the country the correspondents report about violations. The reaction of the Armenian police is rather interesting. The official website, www.police.am, displays responses of law enforcement bodies to the alarm signals reported. These responses either contain a phrase that these signals don’t comply with reality or when it’s impossible to deny, e.g. when people are recorded in the list of voters, but, as a matter of fact, they had left the country, they say these people should be withdrawn from the list as prescribed by law.
